<TITLE>07. Par 27-30</TITLE>L-27 Paul said, "Though I speak with tongues of men and angels, and have not love, it profits me nothing. Though I can have faith to move mountains, and have not love, it profits me nothing."
See, we're so prone to go after the gift instead of the Giver. When you see signs and wonders take place, don't notice the signs so much, but look what's behind it. It's that still small voice that speaks.
That's the reason we can't have revivals in America, is because people go after gifts instead of the Giver. That's what's the matter with the world tonight. Oh, we got if you want great crowds and audiences, you have to have a real classical Hollywood outfit with a lot of show. American people want entertainment. They don't want the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. So therefore, the radio and the television will give them more entertainment than the church can do it, and they stay home. All that comes out is the elect of God that's still hungering, and thirsting, and calling, and crying for the real thing of God.

L-28 It all looks bad when we think of the Lord God of heaven what He's a doing, giving great miracles and signs, and then the people don't listen to it.
They'll go and say, "Oh, I saw it once. Oh, I been in Brother Branham's meeting; I saw discernment. I was in Oral Roberts' meeting I saw him tell how many was in the audience should come, and didn't do it, and so forth, and how he told them what would happen. I seen all of that. I've been to the Pentecostals, and heard the rushing wind, and the--the speaking. I heard all of that." That's right. But what was behind it?
There's where you fail, to not listen to the still small voice of God to call you. There's where the trouble lays, is in that, certainly. The world can mimic and--and out entertain. The church is not an entertainment. It's not supposed to entertain. It's supposed to preach a new birth that makes a new creature in Christ. But the world is looking for entertainment, some social parties, or some fantastic of some sort.

L-29 Now, I want you to notice what taken place. It isn't always the noisy things that's great things. It's not the noisy things. A wagon can go out in the field; when it's unloaded it'll bump, and rattle, and make a lot of noise, can come right back over them same bumps loaded with good things, and won't even make a squeak. Why, it's loaded. What the church needs tonight is to be loaded, filled with the love of God.
The sun can draw a million gallons of water with less noise than we can pump a glass full out of a pump. That's right. The--the heavens can sprinkle dew all over the earth with less noise than you can sprinkle your front lawn. Certainly. Did you ever hear the planets turning? Great things are quiet things.
Watch the Holy Spirit when It comes in tonight, how quiet It gets everything. But we're after sensations, running after little things, failing to hear that voice.

L-30 Did you ever hear the day break? No, you never heard the day break, yet it's scatters all the darkness. If we would only listen to the voice of Him that speaks behind these things, there would be fellowship amongst all churches. Methodist, Baptist, Protestants, Catholic, and all together would tear down the middle walls of partition, and we'd have brotherly love.
This Angelus Temple tonight would be packed out to the roof, standing out yonder on the yard somewhere if we could only hear that Voice of God speaking behind the thing. Remember those things went first. The voice spoke last. It was the last thing.
We've had rushing winds, and thunder, and everything else. But the hour is coming now that the voice of God speaks. And He proves that's Him. It was Him that sent the thunder. And they went after the thunder instead of listening for the voice. He sent the wind, but they went after the wind instead of the voice.
